Hours of operation Monday thru Friday 9:30am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm.
Closed Wednesday and Sunday.
Donations of clothes, toys, bedding, towels, baby “equipment”, household goods and small appliances are accepted during business hours. We are not able to accept large appliances or furniture (couches, mattresses etc) at the store but may be needed on a case by case basis for some of our other programs. Please call the main Mark 12 number 502-240-7543 before dropping those items off.
Unlike Goodwill, all proceeds from the store will stay in Bullitt County.
The Outreach Thrift Shop was opened in 1997 as a mission of Our Divine Savior Lutheran Church in Shepherdsville. The original location was on South Buckman Street before moving to our current location in 2011. The mission remains the same; to provide Christ-centered help for families. We are blessed to have volunteers that have remained faithful since the beginning. Some of our customers remember shopping with their parents and are now bringing their own children.
Mark 12 works closely with Bullitt County Schools, the local Multi-Purpose Community Action Agency, Bullitt County Health Department and several other organizations serving Bullitt County. Outreach Thrift provides clothing and household necessities to any county residents in need.
