Operation Restore is dedicated to helping veterans live a life that honors their service and sacrifice. Using an outcome-based and multi-faceted approach, Operation Restore serves veterans in Bullitt County, providing support and resources tailored to their unique needs. Many veterans face challenges such as reintegrating into civilian life, coping with physical and mental health issues, and finding employment and housing. By addressing these issues, Operation Restore aims to ensure that veterans receive the comprehensive support they deserve.
Pathway Home provides case management services to help veterans secure permanent housing, access healthcare, employment assistance in partnership with organizations like USA Cares, and other resources to address their individual needs. Through Grace Village, we provide temporary housing and support services for veterans experiencing homelessness. Grace Village operates as a supportive community, fostering camaraderie among residents and promoting a sense of belonging as veterans work towards rebuilding their lives. It offers a safe and secure environment where veterans have access to a bed, meals, showers, and laundry facilities.
Healing Together uses curriculum from Living Free to provide a structured and empowering environment for veterans to come together and navigate challenges they face post-service. We provide gospel centered support groups that focus on holistic wellness while addressing physical, emotional, and social aspects of veterans’ lives. These groups provide a platform for veterans to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and build supportive relationships with peers who understand their unique journey. Facilitated by trained veteran volunteers, the sessions cover topics such as mental health, addiction recovery, reintegration into civilian life, and building healthy relationships. Through mutual support and encouragement, veterans in these groups find strength, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose as they journey towards a fulfilling and empowered life beyond their military service.
